Established in 1979 to encourage foot traffic into Siesta Village, the Farmer’s Market is loaded with amazing vendors selling amazing local fruits and veggies, and one-of-a-kind items. The produce sold is grown locally and is some of the freshest produce that you will find in the country. Produce

We have bragged about the produce before, but seriously, some of the freshest produce that you will find anywhere is sold at the Sarasota Farmer’s Market by 10 different vendors. They all take pride in their products, knowing that you, as the customer, will not be disappointed. What’s even better is that some of the local fruits and veggie plants, along with various other local flora, can be purchased from multiple vendors! The Farmer’s Market has welcomed 6 vendors who specialize in selling plants of multiple varieties. Perhaps you were out on one of the various wildlife tours and noticed a flower arrangement that you simply had to try growing at home. Much like most Farmer’s Markets, the Sarasota Farmer’s market is only open on Saturdays, from 7 a.m. until 1 p.m. However, there are other local shops and vendors in the area that remain open after this time. There is also another Siesta Key Farmer’s Market close by that is open Sundays as well!
